The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities: + Supervising multiple staff, including recruiting/hiring, training/personnel development, coaching and counseling employees, technical reviews, and business continuity + Provide technical oversight and recommended paths forward for implementation of technical solutions + Ensure high uptime of information systems, taking into account high availability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery + Identify technology opportunities and develop system strategies and roadmaps + Ensure best practices are followed. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred. **Certification Requirement** The applicant must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification requirements on hire date. \#ASFS #SITCS #CRV2024 **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** **Required education:** + High School diploma and 16 years related IT experience, or + BA/BS degree with 12 years of related IT experience, or + MS degree with 10 years of related IT experience The successful applicant will display the following characteristics: + Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, and the ability to organize assigned daily tasks, as well as the tasks of subordinates, with no supervision + Experience with direct or indirect team leadership + Excellent customer service skills + Ability to explain technology in simple terms while managing technical experts + Possess strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, external vendors, various levels of management and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience + Committed to results and success in accomplishing goals + A fast learner with an ability to quickly understand different technologies + Experience with troubleshooting, identifying and solving issue + The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance **US Citizenship Required** _Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship_ **Clearance Requirement** This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire date. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
