To support our vision in delivering the premier client/attorney experience, we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Physical Security Administrator to oversee the configuration, and maintenance of physical security systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and security of systems such as access control, surveillance, and alarm systems to protect organizational assets and personnel.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Work closely with the Director of Physical Security to manage and maintain physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems. Identify and work with IT Infrastructure for regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure systems remain secure and functional. Monitor system performance and communicate issues with the Director of Physical Security proactively to minimize downtime. Assist in the configuration and deployment of security hardware and software, such as cameras, badge readers, and monitoring platforms. Work with IT infrastructure where necessary, to integrate physical security systems. Investigate and resolve system issues promptly to maintain operational integrity. Assist in the investigation of security incidents by analyzing system logs and video footage. Assist the Director of Physical Security in gathering accurate records of security system configurations, maintenance, and incidents. Assist in generating reports on system performance, security incidents, and recommended improvements. Work closely with IT, Facilities, and security teams to implement and maintain physical security solutions. Provide training and support to staff on the use of security systems and tools. Act as a subject matter expert for physical security technologies and best practices.Qualifications:
Required:
2-3+ years of experience administering physical security systems, such as access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems. Strong technical skills in configuring and maintaining physical security hardware and software. Knowledge of network infrastructure as it relates to security systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience with systems, specifically Avigilon, OpenPath, Unity, Lenel, or leading security platforms. Experience in integrating physical security systems with IT environments.Key Competencies
