IT Physician Services Account Manager

Job Summary

Administers Epic Community Connect program under minimal supervision, acts as a primary contact for external customers for Digital Service (DS) deliveries in product implementation and support processes. Responsible for relationship building, sales and marketing, legal and contract administration, project management, customer service, technical support, product/services training and advocacy, and voice of the customer/product services feedback as an integral member of the provider network team. Can prioritize competing projects and deadlines. Reports to the respective informatics executive.

Essential FunctionsUnder minimal supervision, accountable for managing the external customers’ portfolio of health care technology, serving as the external customer's representative to Corewell Health for business strategies and product needs, from the perspective of the customer.Utilizing specialized marketing products, demonstrates and sells Corewell Health technology services to current and potential customers and manages the legal contracting for those customers.Employing the tools and practices of the Corewell Health project management methodology, works directly with the Director of the Clinically Integrated Network, Manager of Physician Relations, and other Digital Services leaders to guide support/project teams, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for small to medium sized projects.Responsible for assessing resource requirements for project, product, and customer support, and assuring alignment with organizational strategy and resource availability including budget and funding.Functions as the communications liaison between the customer, DS, the Corewell Health Organization, and vendors while working with physician liaisons with the ability to escalate issues as appropriate.Making certain that procurement procedures are followed, helps negotiate with management for resources needed to meet prioritized deliverables, and assists in driving customer risk and readiness assessments.Oversees the external customer relationship, to assure that product and services are meeting needs as defined in the Service Catalog and related Service Level Agreements, and manages the customer's issue list of open products, and (as appropriate) project issues, as well as analyzes and documents processes, procedures, and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.Upon project completion, may be tasked with providing metrics information to the business sponsor, to measure and track benefits realization.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field3 years of relevant experience Related experience, including managing customer relationships to provide technical solutions for identified problems in delivery services and health care information systems
