Axient is looking for an IT Portfolio Specialist with demontrated PPBE experience.  The Portfolio Specialist will join our team at Langley AFB, in Hampton Roads VA. In this role you will be assisting, coordinating, reviewing and analyzing IT portfolios and providing analytical support to one of the HQ Air Combat Command (ACC) directorates.

What you will do... Perform task in support of HQ ACC IT Portfolio Management (including budgetary reporting) and IT Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS) in accordance with required by the Clinger- Cohen Act of 1996.Review and consolidate inputs for financial and program management taskings received throughout the Command and Air Force.Evaluate existing planning and budgeting processes to identify improvements and implements those improvements to make the annual financial planning more efficient and understandable to the MAJCOM mission.Conduct analysis on the Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) process within the ITIPS portfolio.Provide analytical reports as aligned to IT Budget and ITIPS Compliance requirements for all actions to include but not limited to data trends/analysis in mission areas or other related IT budget/compliance action/areas to meet SAF and ACC missions and portfolio management objectives. Support the directorate as a liaison between senior leaders and various program POCs; interfacing with POCs across the MAJCOM stakeholder communities; and attending meetings, workshops, symposiums, conferences and other forums to facilitate information gathering and analysis of ITIPS programs. Skills you will need... Possess a SECRET ClearancePossess a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in IT capital planning and budgeting.Demonstrated understanding of Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPB&E) process. Experience with data analytic tools (ex. Tableau software and Service Now)Experience with IT Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS) Possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience using MS Office Suite applications tools, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint in creating documents and reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both oral and written, at MAJCOM and higher-level organizations.Knowledge of USG/DoD principles, methodologies, and approaches used in Resource Management, Budgeting, and Acquisitions that support cyberspace requirements.
