Job Overview:

As the IT Product Manager, you will oversee and drive the success of the department, leading teams, implementing strategies, and driving performance to meet corporate objectives. Your role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that aligns with Leslie’s vision and values. You will act as a key contributor in various project phases, including discovery, solution generation, design/architecture, and detailing of processes. Your expertise will enable the organization to leverage current and future solutions efficiently, maximizing their impact on strategic goals and achieving measurable outcomes. 

Responsibilities: 

Manage the technical service delivery of merchandising systems, ensuring effective configuration, support, maintenance, monitoring, and improvements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business customers and IT teams to deliver incremental value. Serve as a communication liaison between IT teams, business partners, and leadership to ensure alignment and understanding. Participate in Agile Continuous Delivery to implement valuable solutions that meet business needs. Document business requirements, business cases, and functional specifications, ensuring clarity and completeness. Evaluate software solutions and system architecture to confirm alignment with business objectives. Lead the design, development, and administration of Merchandising and Planning Applications, ensuring system efficiency. Support system and user acceptance testing, resolving issues as they arise. Ensure full documentation of systems, including functional and technical details, to support future needs. Conduct end-user reviews and develop training materials and documentation for users of new and existing systems. Create detailed project plans for software development and upgrades, ensuring timely completion. Lead the implementation of strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive performance. Manage and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and productivity. Delegate responsibilities effectively, providing clear guidance and support to team members. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes. Contribute to the development of strategies and objectives that align with Leslie's mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required. 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or a relevant field. 3+ years of experience in retail merchandising systems, including Merchandising, Pricing, Invoice Management, Allocation, and Replenishment (e.g., Oracle Retail, JDA/Blue Yonder, Microsoft D365). Experience as a business analyst with knowledge of Agile processes, including requirement elicitation, design, and test case planning. Strong background in business solution design, particularly with integrations and data mapping. Demonstrated expertise in software development, configuration, and solution deployment. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities and experience making data-driven decisions. Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends. Proven managerial experience, ideally in a corporate environment within the retail or consumer goods industry. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
