The IT HR Product Manager is responsible for the information technology implementation and maintenance of HR applications in support of one or more operating and functional groups. This includes responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with leaders and subject matter experts; understanding objectives, goals, strategies and measures; and addressing the broad set of information technology tactical and strategic needs in support of those goals and measures. The Product Manager is responsible for managing cross functional teams to deploy and maintain products and applications that address business needs and objectives and deliver measurable value for the organization.
This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US.
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Lead strategic (multi-year) and operational (fiscal year) planning for platforms, products, and applications within scope. Support an annual planning process. Consult with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify strategic technology needs, provide guidance based on industry trends, and support business objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
+ Direct functional group and operating group needs analysis, organizational readiness assessments, impact assessments, and value analysis. Direct solution design activities by working collaboratively across multiple teams to improve existing solutions, deploy existing strategic solutions more broadly within the organization, and, as applicable identify new information technology solutions. Lead development, test, and implementation of capabilities. Support realization of the value analysis and support incremental improvements of applications.
+ Manage a high-performing team to rapidly assess needs; develop, implement and deploy solutions; and achieve objectives. Work effectively across teams to address the application, integration, and data management requirements for platforms, products, and applications.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to create and manage product backlogs based on the overall strategy and business objectives. Map project dependencies to inform the sequence of development. Manage the relationship with one or more vendors including participation in new contracts, modification to existing contracts, management of service levels, and issue escalation and resolution.
+ Serve as the accountable leader for the development of value creation plans. Lead development of detailed cost models, and, working with business leaders, establish quantitative and qualitative benefit assessments that directly and indirectly support organization goals and measures. Work with assigned IT financial analyst to report actuals to budgets, update estimates-at-completion, and provide status updates across project and initiative budget, schedule, scope, and value.
+ Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with functional and operating group leaders and executives.
+ Collaborate with various support team to drive product operational health and actively lead the product production support coordination.
+ Maintain cognizance of industry trends, new and innovative service models, and new information technology capabilities that are applicable to current and planned services.
+ Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.
+ Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
**_Qualifications:_**
+ 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in a technology role requiring significant cross-functional coordination and integration
+ Minimum of 3 years’ management experience driving measurable and impactful business value through the application of information technology. Experience in an agile environment is a plus
+ Direct technology development and implementation experience (e.g., programming or scripting; data analysis, design, and reporting; web design, or similar technical role on large projects)
+ Experience in complex environments in which change management and other disciplines are required for successful implementation and deployment.
+ Experience working in highly regulatory environments especially with variation across multiple geographies is a plus
+ Experience working remotely, managing remote teams and working closely with other remote teams and individuals is a plus
+ Experience in the level 3 production support & operational health management of the applications.
+ Experience in managing team and project budgets versus actuals to meet IT financial governance guidelines
+ Advanced knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.
