The Royal Caribbean Group’s Information Technology team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time IT Product Owner role reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Product.
This position will work on-site in Miramar, Florida.
Position Summary
An IT Product Owner Product drives for efficiencies in their respective Portfolios, reducing any negative impact to the Business by delivering support within SLA and agreed costs. Proactively promote opportunities for additional cost saving or increased revenue. Identify areas for improvement, providing solutions and technologies to aid Business partners to meet strategic goals.
This role covers both Business and Technical arenas, often simultaneously, across the Global organization, with frequent interactions with External Vendors or Products. Budget maintenance and Staff management are key ensuring efficiencies effectively delivered to the Business and ensuring staff development, providing continuity and succession.

Financial Responsibilities
Solid understanding of accounting rules for expense and capital activities. Ensures efficient utilization of staff and non-labor resources. Solid understanding of IT estimation activities. Accountable for financial implications relating to cost of systems and services. Responsible for identifying business process optimization opportunities to manage expenses.People
The management of direct report, ensuring they are motivated, provided with clear objectives, personal development & ongoing performance appraisals.Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
A bachelor’s degree in computer or information science or a business degreeOr
The equivalent proven Management and Leadership experience 5+ years of experience in the Business / Technical field or in a related area Proven strong capabilities of handling multiple areas of responsibility Extensive knowledge across Business areas of how technology delivers increased performance Ability to identify opportunities and detailing ROI and effectively present to wide ranging audience with conflicting priorities Evidence of a high degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
