Our client, a large financial institution in Canada is looking to hire an IT Product Owner for an initial 6-month contract position with a strong chance of extension.
Job Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement business strategies, product roadmaps, and service offerings. Collect and analyze data, market research, and client preferences to drive product roadmap and backlog prioritization. Manage communications and status reporting of ongoing initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product features. Support the definition of the overall Wealth Management product strategy and technology roadmap. Effectively communicate product release features and expected capabilities within the customer journey. Lead scrum teams to deliver business value and maintain client-centric models. Drive digital transformation strategies and stay informed about industry trends. Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance standards while fostering a high-performance environment. Must-Have Skills: Must have 5+ years of experience in Wealth Management with the ability to keep up with changing trends. 10+ years of Product Owner experience in Financial Institutions. 5+ years of experience with Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud preferred). 5+ years of experience with Jira/Confluence. Nice-To-Have Skills: In-depth experience collaborating with international teams, especially Pacific Alliance, Central America & Caribbean regions. Previous experience at Scotiabank is an asset Bilingual in Spanish.
