IT Production Support Analyst
**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking a customer facing IT Production Support Analyst to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate. This position is responsible for serving as a customer liaison supporting the Naval Supply Command Weapons System Support group on-base in Mechanicsburg, PA for the TRIDENT Logistic Data System. The successful candidate will manage and execute production processes and programs to provide Logistic support to the TRIDENT and COLUMBIA submarine fleets. The successful candidate will interface with other IT professionals, as well as internal and external customers on a regular basis to ensure key tasks and schedules align with the fleet s operating schedule. **and the U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)** Our organization has supported the U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) continually since the program s inception in the 1950s. SSP developed the first sea-based, underwater-launched Strategic Weapon System (SWS), a defense system that is truly critical to our national security. For more than six decades, SSP has maintained and upgraded this weapon system and we have been there every step of the way. The sea-based SWS is the ultimate stealthy weapon system and as the first leg of the U.S. nuclear triad. With over 70% of our nation s nuclear arsenal its importance to maintaining world peace cannot be overstated. The development of Columbia, the most advanced nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed submarine ever designed, as well the next D5LE2 weapon system is under way and will begin to be rolled out over the next decade. The Navy projects this system to be operational through 2084, meaning the program will have a total life span of more than 120 years. We develop, engineer, manufacture, and support products and systems to protect national security and keep people safe. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High School Diploma and 6 years related professional work experience + Ability to obtain a SECRET level clearance + The desire to learn and understand Naval logistics + Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams + Ability to follow standard documented operating procedures + Ability to create and maintain system documentation + Ability to analyze data for discrepancies + Ability to troubleshoot system problems + Experience using Microsoft Office tools **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s Degree in related field or an Associate s plus 2 years + Solid working knowledge of Naval Logistics + Experience with writing and maintaining system documentation + Experience with Configuration Management + Working knowledge of Oracle databases + Ability to write PL/SQL statements + Ability to troubleshoot network connection issues + Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Principles + Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) + Security or equivalent + DoD IA certification + Experience with Unix OS (scripting a plus) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
