Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency. Incumbents perform journey level duties and may serve as a lead worker to lower level IT staff as assigned. This is a supervisory level for the Computer Operations function. This is an IT Professional 2 position for the Department of Administration, State Public Works Division, located in Carson City Nevada. The position is supervised by the Project Manager and serves as the sole, non-EITS support for the Administrative group. The position is an integral member of the team and is responsible for providing IT support to 100+ staff. The position provides support to various sections of the division, including technical programming to aid in project management of the CIP program, procurement of computer and software equipment as needed, and administration of technology section of the agency budget.
