Job Description

We are seeking an IT Program Manager for a 2-year contract in Denver, CO.  This role will assist in a tech stack refresh, transforming data infrastructure, and driving organizational change.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and implementation of modernization initiatives managing the associated change management processes to ensure a successful adoption across the organization. Will report directly to senior executive leadership, offering support and feedback as to the success of each phase of the process, including face-to-face sessions, presentations, status reports and ongoing communications throughout the effort.

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive data modernization strategy aligned with the organization's objectives and priorities.Lead cross-functional teams to assess current data infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans for modernization.Collaborate with internal and external customers, teams, data architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions.Define and implement change management processes to facilitate the adoption of new data technologies and practices across the organization.Develop communication plans and training materials to support change initiatives and ensure stakeholder buy-in and engagement.Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.Establish best practices, key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data modernization efforts and drive continuous improvement.Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

QualificationsProven experience leading modernization initiatives in a large organization with a global presence.Experience in change management processes and driving organizational change initiatives.Strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and technologies, including data integration, data warehousing, and data governance.Stakeholder Management experienceExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.Strong program/project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Additional Information

This will be a 2-year contract with a preference for a hybrid schedule in the Denver Tech Center area.  We may consider applications outside of Colorado with the understanding that there will be occasional travel to Denver, CO for meetings.
