The IT Program Manager will guide the execution, planning, coordinating, requirements, timelines, processes, standards, resources and expectations for IT projects in the LCS corporate office and business units. This role will be involved in the most impactful work of the technology group at LCS. The Role:
Responsible for planning, directing, scheduling and coordinating projects from initiation to implementation to completion Responsible for delivering project on scope, cost, and schedule with good quality Determines project stakeholders, roles, timelines and communications plans Determines internal resources and/or vendor partners required to complete projects Conducts post-completion feedback sessions and retrospectives for continuous improvement Maintains clear, visible, and accessible documentation and project plans Builds and enhances relationships with technology team members, seeking to drive and foster collaboration and team work Measure progress, reports status and keep track of the overall technical services initiatives and priorities Assists IT Leadership with risk assessments, resource allocation, and budgeting as it relates to assigned projects Compiles and reports current and accurate project metrics, status and progress Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to personnel to achieve maximum effectiveness; maintains effective communication within the department Performs work with a high degree of latitude & autonomy Handles the most complex issues
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Technology-related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology Minimum 8 years of experience in project / program management Experience managing project teams with more than 10 team members Experience managing projects with budgets in excess of $1,000,000 Experience managing projects with C-Suite Stakeholders Experience working within the healthcare and/or senior living industries a plus Formal project management training, including PMP Certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience leading a development team to successfully deliver software applications and solutions Strong written and oral communication skills Proficiency with project management concepts and terminology Proficiency with Information Technology concepts and terminology Extensive experience managing project budgets and reporting Highly self-motivated and self-directed Ability to interpret and define business requirements
