IT Program Manager

What You Will Do:

The IT Program Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, implementing strategic initiatives, executing long-term programmatic planning efforts, and managing matrixed teams in support of an Intelligence Agency organization. In addition, you will:

Provide detailed project plans, scope and budget definition, and resource allocation

Organize and facilitate project timelines with clients and team

Serve as point person in client communications and provide leadership and mentoring to team members on project development and client management skills

Manage senior client relationships and expectations throughout project lifecycle in order to build confidence, deliver excellence, and sell consulting services

The candidate must be a strong written and oral communicator and be comfortable interacting with clients and serving as a trusted advisor to senior government leadership.

Managerial and supervisorial responsibilities include mentoring, coaching, and career and performance management of consulting staff.

Support the client management and stakeholders to plan for and address risks and issues as they occur, to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.

Develop and manage master integration management plans, critical dependency milestone trackers, and dashboards, tracking key program status updates and issues/risks, performing action item management for complex programs

What You Will Need:

ACTIVE and CUREENT TOP SECRET/ SCI federal security clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph

Bachelor's degree

SIX (6) or more years of Federal Government project and/or program management experience

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Relevant certifications in program management (e.g., PMP), systems development, change management, and/or financial management.

Demonstrated experience serving the Intelligence Community

Showing extensive program management skills including the ability to liaise with technical and business teams and clearly articulate technology concepts to business audiences.

Demonstrated experience leading technology implementations/transformations, specifically with large-scale technology transformation programs (i.e., strategy through execution)

Demonstrating IT strategy skills by being able to develop and document business visions, technology strategies, and project roadmaps.
