The IT Project Analyst assists with portfolio planning, communication, monitors budgets and resources, and handles some project management tasks.
ResponsibilitiesProject Planning:
• Contributing to IT Portfolio demand planning, prioritization, and overall strategy.
• Conducting and presenting a feasibility analysis for proposed projects
Project Support:
• Assist with developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Monitoring project progress and performance, and identify and resolve issues
• Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
• Supporting project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project/portfolio manager
• Developing project documentation including requirements, specifications, and deliverables
• Monitoring and responding for project communications (Email/Teams)
• Assist with coordination for third party vendors and partners
• Create reports to provide insights and recommendations
• Update and maintain project/portfolio documentation
• Complete analysis on project deliverables
Resource and Budget Planning:
• Assisting with resource scheduling so that project teams have the resources they need to complete their tasks
• Assist with providing Finance and Procurement project/portfolio information as required
Communications:
• Communicate with third parties, stakeholders, project managers, and project teams
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and risk logs
Reporting:
• Creating status reports for leadership, project managers and stakeholders
Minimum Education
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, CIS, or related technical field; or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum Experience
Required:
• A minimum of three (3) years of project coordination experience, including tracking and planning IT related projects
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
Preferred:
• Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
• Experience with stakeholder and financial management
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT Project analyst or related technical field
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Organizing and updating the project schedule: Based on team member inputs and progress reports, they adjust timelines and ensure all stakeholders are informed of any changes.
• Facilitating communication: Ensuring clear communication channels among team members and stakeholders, coordinating meetings, and disseminating important information.
• Monitoring progress: Keeping track of the project's progress, identifying any issues or delays, and reporting these to the project manager.
• Administrative support: Handling documentation, preparing reports, and maintaining project files.
