Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, building, delivery, and supporting all plant program initiatives in Service Centers with a strong focus on our patching cycles. Will manage and ensure successful end-to-end delivery of Edge technology security workstreams in Plants to agreed scope, timeframe, cost, and quality.  The individual should have good technical background to understand the environment (Windows, Linux, Network, OT Technologies)

This role will require some after-hours work.

• Compliancy of the business areas to the standards defined by Edge Compute Technology Platforms

• Compliancy to the IT Service Management and Technology Platform processes and procedures

• Security, resiliency, and value representative KPIs

• Cybersecurity Risk Reduction and Management

MAJOR / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage multiple projects or workstreams that deliver security improvements for edge technology at Service Centers globally

• Develop project scope and objectives, the identification & evaluation of options for project delivery and the preparation of project documentations and plans.

• Ensure that IT requirements are defined, delivered, and monitored

• Lead the governance activities for various application programs and ensure scope is accurately documented and approved by various stakeholders

• Prioritize and manage programs and projects with an understanding of the organizational strategic and security requirements, technology context and business needs

• Manage Plant Security Program patching per agreed timelines

• Direct the activities of the project team, coordinate and drive the team’s efforts towards successful delivery of assigned projects

• Lead the weekly status meetings and provide overall program status regularly to leadership.

• Responsible for overall scheduling downtime windows at scale on a weekly basis, need to be comfortable with day-to-day coordination & scheduling activities

• Interact with wide range of stakeholders (40 + countries) and build relationships with Operations team.

• Develop, present, and manage program metrics to continuously measure and improve the delivery of program.

• Understand business and edge technology management processes and demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards.

• Identify and act on opportunities to improve engagement with the business units.

• Ensure quality control procedures are used correctly

• Develop schedules and work packages for the IT & application delivery teams

• Monitor and adjust activities, resources, and plans

• Initiate and influence key stakeholder relationships

• Influence organisation, customers, suppliers, partners, and peers on the contribution of own specialism.

• Build appropriate and effective business relationships.

• Make decisions which impact the success of assigned projects i.e., results, deadlines, and budget.

• Perform an extensive range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

• Customer-focused and driven to achieve business value relevant outcomes.

•  Works effectively and collaborates with purpose with a wide variety of people.

• Organised and able to plan effectively.

• Manages multiple competing demands on time.

• Drives results & is motivated to improve.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Other Technology Use: VMWare, SCADA systems, CISCO, Networking, Security Tools, Windows, Linux

• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 or CAPM)

EXPERIENCE

• Significant previous experience within an IT focused role.

• Exposure to IT Infrastructure and basic understanding of IT hardware components

• Understanding of IT Security and experience in working waterfall/agile projects

• 5+ years’ experience influencing technical staff and projects.

• Proven success in improving the customer experience.

• Experience working within a matrix structure.

• Goal oriented, have a get-it-done attitude

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Exposure to Industrial environment (Service Centres, fulfillment centres etc.)  is a plus

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management.

• Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.

• Implements a communications strategy, including, e.g. handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information appropriately

Project Management

• Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects (typically lasting 6-12 months, with direct business impact, teams of 3-12 and firm deadlines).

• Identifies, assesses, and manages risks to the success of the project.

• Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.

• Ensures Quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure.

• Manages the change control procedure, and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale, resource budgets, and are signed off

• Provides effective leadership to the project team and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.

Technical and Business Knowledge

• Understand Operational Technology utilized by Plants, and integration of Informational Technology in conjuncture with Operational Technology

• Technical skills (Server Administration, AD, Azure, DNS, Networks, VMWare/ESXi)
