The P&C IT Finance team seeks an experienced Project Financials Lead. This position works closely with senior business partners and finance professionals at all levels of the organization to drive thoughtful analysis supporting strategic decisions within the Property & Casualty IT organization.
Success in this role will require the ability to partner with project management and senior business leaders to drive successful project execution and track and report on project financials. In addition, scope will include a range of financial planning activities and the ability to help identify and drive process improvements to deliver value to the organization.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership for the Property & Casualty IT Services organization supporting both internal and external IT and business stakeholdersPartner with Project Managers on the Company’s key initiatives to ensure successful project execution and accurate and actionable financial tracking and reportingCreate financial models and reporting that distill complex information into actionable business insights for the senior management teamDevelop and present to the senior management team with the most current information, analysis, and insights to help them understand their short and long-term financial risks and opportunitiesIdentify and drive process improvements across the various FP&A processesPerform ad-hoc projects, financial analyses, and presentations for the senior management team as neededPerforms other duties as assignedJob Requirements
College Field of Study: Business, Finance, Accounting or related disciplineEducation Level: Bachelors DegreeProfessional Experience: Professional experience reflects increased responsibilities and developmental growth within FP&A roles, 10 or more years of related experience preferredIndustry Experience: Insurance industry preferredSpecific Technical Skills: Requires advanced (expert level) Microsoft Excel knowledge (including expert proficiency in Vlookup, SumIf, Pivot tables, Charts, etc.)Software Experience: Workday HR and Finance, Adaptive Forecasting, Power BI and ServiceNow project management tools, Microsoft 365 suite including TeamsKey Success Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skillsTeam oriented, ability to develop trust and work in a matrix organizationAbility to think clearly, analyze quantitatively and solve problems while managing changing prioritiesAbility to distill and communicate complex information clearly and succinctlyThis role is hybrid (location), the candidate will be required to perform 50% or more work onsite in the Cincinnati officeBusiness Unit:
