PRIMARY PURPOSE: Manages software development projects associated with Sedgwick’s Client Facing Applications (viaOne, mySedgwick, Smart.ly and Sidekick). The project manager is responsible for organizing, defining, and overseeing all facets of the project ensuring timely completion of defined scope meeting project stakeholder expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with project stakeholders (clients, business, and IT representatives) to define and document project scope and objectivesPrepares detailed project plans/schedules to monitor and track progress through completion.Manages changes to project scope using appropriate verification/approval techniquesPerforms issue and risk management and escalates to management as neededEnsures all assigned projects are delivered with agreed scope and objectives, on time and within the budgeted level of effort allocated for the assigned project.Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation as required by established standards set by the IT governance office.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree requested, major in computer science field preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience
Seven (7) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience managing application development projects preferred.
