Trinity Industries is hiring an IT Project Management Summer Intern in Dallas, Texas!

What you’ll do:

Assist IT PMO Director to establish PMO operations Work directly with business and technical resources to ensure alignment on project requirements Assist project manager(s) on building out project plans (timing, milestones, resources, costs) Provide PM support for small projects and enhancements within the IT organization Assist projects with gathering and analyzing requirements, ensuring proper documentation to support successful delivery Gather and analyze data to support PMO initiatives•Build reports and dashboards to track portfolio, program, and project performance Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance project management standards, methodologies, practices, and tools Assist in the development and delivery of training related to changes to PMO standards, methodologies, practices, and tools

What you’ll need:

•    Must be pursuing a degree in Business or IT (Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred)
•    Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
•    Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative
