Duration: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP (Estimated Early March 2025)
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead application development projects in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development methodologies, project management tools, and team leadership. This role involves managing development teams, ensuring project timelines, and overseeing project deliverables to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership & Execution (50%)Manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.Identify project risks and establish timelines to meet expectations.Project Planning & Coordination (20%)Lead project teams, review scope, and create detailed project plans.Schedule and facilitate internal and customer-facing meetings throughout implementation.Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and other teams.Documentation & Tracking (20%)Maintain critical project documentation and track progress using MS Project.Provide status updates and ensure clear communication across teams.Change Management & Integration (10%)Identify scope changes and coordinate with stakeholders for proper implementation.Align customer business requirements with operational frameworks.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of professional IT experience.4+ years' experience in IT development, including exposure to full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in STEM-related field.Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).Experience with project management tools and risk mitigation strategies.Ability to manage vendor relationships and facilitate change initiatives.Experience with team leadership and stakeholder communication.Familiarity with system testing practices and quality management.Proficiency in MS Project, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Critical Path Method (CPM).Ability to work nights/weekends as needed for system implementations.
