Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:
Work with globally distributed Release Management & Product teams to deliver artifacts to production for the systems (Store POS, online, Distribution centers, planning systems Infrastructure Network and Datacenters etc.) Manage a distributed team of delivery engineers during change windows to ensure that the systems are available as scheduled at the end of the change window Perform triage and resolution of delivery issues, work closely with operations and engineering teams to resolve delivery errors, including Root Cause Analysis Identify and implement delivery process improvements using continuous improvement Work with the platform engineering team to improve the reliability and performance of test and build processes Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations Execute Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans Weekly Release Reporting & Metrics Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Lead and co - ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.Qualifications:
5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AGILE SOFTWARE DELIVERY 2-6 YEARS OF PREVIOUS RELEASE AND/OR PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, (SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES PREFERRED) Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle Outstanding written and oral communication skills Ability to remain calm and lead a delivery team in a high stakes/high pressure environment Demonstrated ability to influence a large organization and work as part of a distributed team Demonstrated ability to be successful in a metrics driven continuous improvement work environment Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completionInterview Process (Is face to face required?)
