This is a level 1 IT Project Manager role.  Need ability to understand, at basic level, the inner workings of IT.  However, an IT specific background is not required. 

 

This is a hybrid workspace position in SLC, UT;  must be local (or willing to relocate here), for on-site needs and projects.

 

Must be open to varying hours to meet project demands.

 

 

This position is responsible to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific project which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The incumbent works closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. Coordinates internal resources and vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

Responsibilities Develops project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensures technical feasibility.Creates a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.Determines the resources required to complete the projectDevelops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities required.Determines objectives and measures to evaluate the project at its completion.Executes the project according to the project plan.Monitors the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary.Ensures the project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality expectations.Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of project management.Ability to manage multiple projects at once.Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.Ability to prepare written and verbal communications for projects.Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Qualifications QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency.Two years of applicable experience. Qualifications (Preferred) PreferredCertification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project related certification.Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Information Technology or other related area.Working Conditions and Physical Demands
