Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager for a direct hire/permanent role located in the Denver area (Littleton) and can be remote/telecommuting until it is announced to return to the office onsite.  Interested candidates in the Denver area or those who are interested in moving to the Denver area are encouraged to apply.  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical project planning, management, risk tracking, oversight for key initiatives and implementation of projects in the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Information Technology departments. You will ensure initiatives and projects meet expectations and are completed with an extremely high level of quality. This role will work with agile teams and have a strong passion for working across different platforms and with continuous improvement focus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activitiesPrepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the projectProvide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadershipUnderstand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needsSupport formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contractWork with key stakeholders to facilitate project planning from inception to completionMeasure project performance using project management best practices methodology and techniquesProvides onsite Leadership by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestonesDevelop detailed project plans to monitor and track progressCreate project detailed project status reports for executive staffServe as Project Manager/coordinator for new product development projects and other projectsAct as primary cross-functional coordinator of project team membersSchedule and facilitate project status meetings; maintains and follows-up on action itemsCreate, update, and maintain project plans and other project documents and product development process documentsBe primary user and administrator project management and collaboration software toolsPerform duties in a timely manner, and effectively communicates appropriate information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Will consider applicants with extensive PM experience managing IT and technology projects in lieu of specific degree requirements

Minimum 7+ years experience performing cross-functional project management responsibilitiesExperience in other relevant areas such as quality management, ISO 9001, and configuration management a plusExperience in engineering projects and familiarity with engineering disciplines, e.g. mechanical, electrical, test, industrial and quality engineering.Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / WaterfallStrong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizationsProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceBuild and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectivesExcellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsResearch best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve resultsExcellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work on numerous tasks and projects with minimal daily supervisionExcellent verbal communication skills and organizational intelligence; able to coordinate cross-functionally to get things done with little direct authorityProficiency in or ability to learn Microsoft Visio, MS Project, MS Sharepoint, MS Azure DevOps, PMP certified a plus
