IT Project Manager
Overview SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Fort Meade, MD in support of IT, Engineering & Logistics. Essential Job Duties Mastery of general policy, technology and programs to function as a technical authority in assignments requiring the application of new theories, concepts, and developments to information and broadcast technology problems. Ability to deal courteously and effectively with people, exercising tact, and ability to explain and interpret DoD and DINFOS policies. Oversee the daily operations of service desk, network, security, applications development, project management, logistics, facilities, and audio/visual engineers. Analyze and identify customer information system requirements by designing or conducting analytical studies, cost-benefit analysis, or other research germane to the assigned projects. Participate with key officials in defining projects goals and coordinate preparation of a master plan for accomplishing goals. Determine which phases of a project will be performed by other specialists or contractors. Participate in design reviews. Collaborate with other leaders to develop project schedules and plan resources; communicate with customers as to schedule progress while managing potential delays and risks. Work with the customer to define and document customer requirements. Manage team resources to ensure timely delivery of projects including requirements specifications, design documents, project plans, etc. Interface regularly with other delivery teams providing complementary support for other efforts. Conduct and/or participate in Technical/Cyber meetings with organizational team members to provide guidance on strategic plan in order to achieve an authorization to operate (ATO). Minimum Requirements Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related (OR the equivalent additional years of relevant experience, HS Diploma/GED needs 8 years of experience, AA/AS in related field needs 4 years of experience) Minimum of 5 years of experience managing information systems and technology (enterprise systems and applications, networking, and help desk) DoD 8570.01 IAM level II (CAP, CASP+CE, CCISO, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC) compliant Preferred Qualifications Active in scope SECRET clearance. Prefer candidate that has 3 to 5 years experience working within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMass) that understands how to map security controls, create Plan of action and milestones (POA&M), review System Security Plans (SSPs). Prefer candidate that has experience as an ISSO or working closely with an ISSO that understands eMass authorization packages, documentation and continuous monitoring practices. PMP Certification. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
