IT Project ManagerThe Programme and Project Partners (PPP) model was mobilised in 2019 with the purpose of transforming major project delivery at the Sellafield nuclear site.
The partnership brings together KBR, Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Altrad Babcock and Sellafield Ltd to deliver a 20-year pipeline of major infrastructure projects to support the decommissioning of Sellafield and to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.
In delivering its pipeline of large-scale infrastructure projects, PPP is creating opportunities for its people, supply chain, economy and communities.

Job Title: IT Administrator
Reports to: PPP ICT Programme Manager
Location: Hinton House, Birchwood Park Avenue, Risley, Warrington, Cheshire WA3 6GR United Kingdom with regular travel to Cumbria (2 or 3 times per month) including probable overnight stays.

The role is to project manage delivery of IT/IM projects by a range of third party contractors in support of the Sellafield Project and Programme Partner (PPP) engagement.
The IT projects to be delivered are summarised within the Collaborative Management Plan (CMP) which addresses the Strategy & Governance, Platform Services & Environment, Software Systems and IT Resource Services required to deliver the PPP Project and to create an integrated IT environment with Sellafield (the Employer), the PPP Partnership and the PPP Project supply chain.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end delivery of one or more defined IT/IM projects typically using teams comprising third party systems integrators or the Employers capability.
It is expected that this role will interact with the other teams to understand the dependencies, and to deliver a technical product to the Business with supporting configuration, training and support.
This role will report to the IT Programme Manager.
The Project Manager will:
Work with all parties to develop implementation plan(s) that incorporate all stages of the delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering to transition into service and beneficial useEnsure the business requirements are clearly documented and agreed by business stakeholdersEnsure the business requirements are communicated to the technical solution provider and that they agree their solution will fulfil the needsEnsure all parties are aware of any potential change in project scope, cost, quality and schedule at the earliest opportunity and manage any resultant change via an agreed process Maintain project risk, opportunity, issues and risk registersManage and report project costs, schedules and progress performanceProduce twice monthly project Highlight ReportLiaise with corporate security to ensure project delivery and the resultant project deliverables comply with information management and security policy, process and proceduresEnsure any transition into service and service take on processes are completed.Liaise with other IT Project Managers to ensure other related projects are aligned with timeframes and user requirementsDue to the nature of our work and security requirements, KBR does not offer sponsorship.
