Chemours is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our growing IT Organization team. This position will be available at Wilmington, DE and report directly to the Project Management Office Manager.

For this role, Chemours is seeking a knowledgeable Project Manager to drive high performing and collaborative teams and accelerate value delivery through the application of project methods to a portfolio of IT, digital, cyber security initiatives across the organization. This position will lead projects from initial contact through front end loading, scope definition, planning, estimation, approval, and delivery. The focus of the projects will span across IT, Digital, and Cyber Security and requires effective teamwork and collaboration skills as projects are global and may support from multiple Business Units, Regions, and Sites.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Achieves project objectives within scope, on time, and within budget.

Manages projects through all project phases following IT PMO processes.

Creates and maintains the project plan throughout the life of a project and ensures all requirements are documented, reviewed and approved.

Develops realistic work estimates, project budgets and timelines.

Monitors scope and facilitates change control process. Measures and communicates progress toward goals, determines and implements any necessary corrective actions.

Identifies issues affecting work progress, raises them to project stakeholders using appropriate channels, and recommends solutions.

Prioritizes project risks, develops mitigation plans and actively monitors risks.

Manage resources to ensure effective allocation and balanced workloads

Responsible to get the team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques

Serves as Subject Matter Expert in various project methodologies acting as a leader who coaches and supporting project team members and others in the organization.

Responsible for ensuring the project processes are understood and the team adheres to PMO processes

Contributes to the advancement and improvement of PMO practices and PM/SM capability within the organization by collaborating with other delivery leaders both internal and external to the transformation office

Works with leaders to ensure the capability and skillsets of the team are adequate to achieve business goals, targets.

The following is required for this role:

Bachelor’s degree in related field

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on IT Projects, with a minimum of 10 years' work experience overall in a professional setting.

Self-motivated, self-starter individual that exhibits leadership qualities capable of navigating organizational issues and conflict.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a global environment

Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels

Experience leading global, virtual project teams

Strong working knowledge of Project and Portfolio tools for project tracking and control.

PMP or other equivalent certifications or advance coursework within Professional Project Management.

Working knowledge of other delivery methods including Agile.

The following is preferred for this role:

Intermediate working knowledge of Azure DevOps and MS Project

Experience with leading projects within the manufacturing industry, preferably Chemical Industry.

Agile - Scrum Master Certification

Experience using productivity tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerApp/Power Automate, Alteryx.

Relevant technical or project experience (software development, cyber security, IT services).

Pay Range (in local currency):

$105,280.00 - $164,500.00

26

Annual Bonus Target:

11%
