IT Project Manager
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the IT industry based in San Antonio, Texas. We are in search of a dedicated IT Project Manager to join our team. The role involves leading IT infrastructure projects, from network upgrades to data center migrations and security initiatives. Responsibilities: • Oversee the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, and security initiatives. • Develop detailed project plans, keeping in mind scope, budget, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and strategies for communicating with stakeholders. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as network engineers, system administrators, software developers, and external vendors, to ensure project objectives are met. • Monitor the progress of projects, identify and resolve any issues, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. • Manage the expectations of stakeholders and maintain clear, regular communication with senior leadership, project sponsors, and team members. • Uphold project management standards and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall, and ensure compliance with all requirements. • Facilitate change management activities and coordinate training and support for end-users and operational teams. • Conduct evaluations after the completion of projects to identify any lessons learned and implement practices for continuous improvement. • Utilize project management tools like Project Management Software, Jira, or equivalent software effectively. • Demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management. • Solid understanding and experience with Cisco Technologies. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and their application in business environments. • Proficient in using CRM software to manage customer relationships and data. • Comprehensive knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools and their application. • Demonstrated experience with About Time software for project management. • Proficiency in conducting AB Testing to improve software usability and effectiveness. • Strong experience in Agile Scrum methodologies for project management. • Familiarity with Budget Processes, including planning, tracking, and reporting. • Experience in Change Management, including planning and implementing changes in IT projects.
