One of Insight Globals clients, in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an IT Project Manager with specialty in Application Development with financial tools.

This opportunity is on the Financial Division IT team for an IT Project Manager, who will lead cross-functional teams focused on delivery of IT projects by planning and coordinating all aspects of information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Work involves understanding the high-level objectives and detailed scope of the project and how they fit into overall business goals. The Project Manager will then partner with our Stakeholders for Business and IT teams to plan and deliver the requisite new features and capabilities to achieve the business objectives. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity. Reports to IT Program Manager.to ensure that individual software projects align with the overall business strategy and technology standards. Person will collaborate closely with development teams to oversee solution implementation, perform technical planning, architecture development, and modify specifications as needed. Additionally, they develop specifications for new products, services, applications, and service offerings. The role involves assessing the compatibility and integration of proposed products and services to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource plans
Delivery of assigned projects on-time and within budget
Manage project teams work (IT and vendor personnel)- ensuring they are completing their assigned tasks within the established timeframes
Adhere to IT Project Governance processes as set forth by the International IT PMO
Create and maintain required project management documentation
Ensure projects remain in alignment with business objectives
Create, edit, and maintain electronic and written communications
Coordinate project activities and participate in project meetings with matrix partners and staff
Maintain and track meeting minutes
Identify opportunities to improve IFIN results, communications, and operating efficiencies
Take a broad perspective to identify solutions- both individually and collectively with the project team
Exercise sound judgment in selecting best methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both IFIN Business and other IT professionals
Perform other duties as assigned
