Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking an IT Project Manager III. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the performance projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines * Lead the development of goals, guidelines, action steps, and timelines to ensure projects meet technical requirements * Contribute your advanced technical expertise to the project * Monitor and report on progress towards the project's timelines and goals * Refine goal, guidelines, action steps, and timelines for projects as needed * Oversee project execution, ensuring that all aspects are in line with the scope, budget, and timeline * Provide clear guidance and direction to project teams on tasks and deliverables * Develop and implement detailed project plans to track progress and keep stakeholders informed * Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects * Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques * Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques * Report and escalate issues to management as needed * Establish and maintain relationships with clients and all stakeholders * Perform risk management to minimize project risks * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
