Job Description

We are seeking multiple IT  Project Managers with Agile experience for a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Englewood, CO.  The IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of software implementation projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:

· Lead the planning and implementation of projects; present and negotiate with customer, senior management, RM, dev. teams, TQA/UAT

· Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables ; define project tasks and resource requirements

· Develop full scale project plans working with various teams; assemble and coordinate project staff; manage project resource allocation

· Plan and schedule project timelines and necessary weekly/daily or ad hoc meetings; track project deliverables using appropriate tools; provide direction and support to project team; Quality Assurance and UAT

· Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders; present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

· Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs; project evaluations and assessment of results throughout and post project deployment

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management and/or 5+ years of Project Management experience or direct work experience in technical software project management capacityAgile experience (the team is 50% Agile and 50% Waterfall)Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management Experience with Defect Management tools (Jira, Rally, etc)Thorough knowledge of software development phases and processes, including a working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with IT management, software development and test teams
