Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $75-78.00/hourLocation: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 months+Schedule:  Part-time; must be able to work on-site M-F / 7am-11am
Benefits including 401K, medical, vision and dental insurance Responsibilities Plans, Designs and Manages multiple major and complex projects and programsProvide regular project status updates directly to CIO and Project/Program Steering committeesDefine the project/program governance in alignment with PMO PracticesEnsure effective Quality Assurance and the overall integrity of the project/programEnsuring allocation of resources and skills within the project/programDefine project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholdersManage the process of gathering, review and agreement of requirements with stakeholdersEffectively communicate project expectations and progress to sponsor, steering committee, team members and other stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionEffective Management and critical analysis of project costs and overall budgetPlan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate toolsControl the flow of work and track project milestones and deliverablesIdentify risks and ensure control actions are takenControl issues affecting project schedule, budget and resourcesDetermine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areasDefine project success criteria in relation to agreed requirements and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycleConduct project lessons learned and create a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elementsContribute to the development of methods, processes and controls, and be an advocate in their application Qualifications 5 plus years’ direct work experience in a Project Management capacity, including all aspects of process development and executionBachelor's degree requiredStrong familiarity across project management methodologies such as PMI, Prince 2, APM, Agile.  Agile Project Management experience essential with proven demonstrable delivery of Agile based projectsExperience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) structureRelies on systematic thinking to create solutions that resolve challenges in the context of the broader organizationGood understanding of Software Development Lifecycle desirableIT Domain knowledge desirable but not essential i.e. SAP, IT OperationsCompetent and proficient understanding of platforms, such as MS-OfficeSolid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including SharePointProven track record of successfully delivering complex projects/programs per original commitment date with a strong focus for On Time Delivery MetricsMust have strong scope definition and management skillsDemonstrable experience in personnel management with the ability to effectively Lead large diverse project teams that are globally distributedDemonstrable experience of working at Senior/Executive levels within large scale organizationsDemonstrates exceptional communication and stakeholder management at all levelsDemonstrates outstanding project management strategy and negotiation skillsDemonstrates strong R.A.I.D management across all projects and programsWell organized and able to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressureHighly resilient, adaptable and able to deal effectively with ambiguity/changing prioritiesAble to operate effectively in a fast-paced change environmentHighly numerate, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detailExcellent team player with ability to working closely with others to deliver results.  Strong relationship management skills
