IT Project Manager (Workday or Banner)

Description
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in South Orange, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transition of our current self-hosted ERP system to to a new SaaS product. You will work closely with various teams within the organization and external consultants to ensure the project is completed successfully.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the Banner SaaS project plan, ensuring it aligns with the university's goals and objectives.
• Manage project timelines, scope, and milestones for successful completion within the set budget.
• Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collect and analyze stakeholder requirements to align with the new system.
• Identify opportunities for process and data access improvements and automation with foundational technologies.
• Support the planning of the redesign of current Banner integrations, modifications, and workflows.
• Build and maintain relationships with university leaders, team members, stakeholders, and partners.
• Document project progress, decisions, risks, tasks, and costs, and communicate them through various means, including a project dashboard.
• Manage the project budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Schedule functional and technical resources, both internal and external
Requirements
• Knowledge of Workday or Ellucian Banner is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required.
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is essential.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies is necessary.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems is required.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Experience with About Time software is a strong advantage.
• Competency in AB Testing is required.
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies is essential.
• Understanding of Budget Processes is necessary.
• Solid experience in Change Management is required.
