Your role will be pivotal in driving projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step. **Essential Functions:** + **Leadership & Direction:** Set goals and enforce policies for project teams developing business applications and information services. + **Team Management:** Lead small to medium-sized cross-functional teams through the full product development lifecycle. + **Project Oversight:** Manage all aspects of project development and implementation, serving as the primary point of contact. + **Comprehensive Management:** Oversee projects from initial concept to final implementation, interfacing with clients and internal departments. + **Scope & Objectives:** Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals. + **Lifecycle Management:** Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close software and product development activities. + **Strategic Planning:** Participate in setting project direction and enforce it with cross-functional teams. + **Resource Allocation:** Plan and manage resource allocations and task assignments within a matrix-managed environment. + **Collaboration:** Work with management to define, develop, and implement new information products and services. + **Project Control:** Manage scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring projects stay on track. + **Communication:** Regularly update stakeholders on project status and risks, providing recommendations as needed. + **Quality Assurance:** Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. + **Business Guidance:** Provide strategic business guidance to project teams. + **Multi-Project Involvement:** Potentially manage multiple small IT projects simultaneously. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor's Degree required. + **Experience:** Minimum of five years in software and/or product development. + **Project Management:** Proven education and experience in project management.
