IT Risk and Compliance Specialist
Description We are in the process of recruiting an IT Risk and Compliance Specialist to work in our team located in Grand Blanc, Michigan. This role is geared towards individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of compliance within the IT industry. Responsibilities: • Monitor and manage IT risks within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations • Utilize software such as Adobe Acrobat, ADP - Financial Services, Compliance software, Concur, and CRM to manage and mitigate risks • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk • Handle complaints related to compliance and risk issues in a professional and timely manner • Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future • Maintain knowledge of Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations and best practices • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations • Develop and implement training programs for employees to improve understanding and awareness of compliance protocols and requirements • Continuously improve IT systems and processes to ensure they are up-to-date with current compliance requirements • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding compliance initiatives, issues, and changes. Requirements • Proficiency in ERM. • Expertise in AML - Anti Money Laundering principles. • Proven experience in Auditing, with a focus on IT Risk and Compliance. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Experience in Complaint Handling in an IT environment. • Solid understanding of Compliance regulations and best practices in the IT sector. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred. • Relevant industry certifications would be advantageous. • Prior work experience in a similar role is a plus.
