We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to lead our data & analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in agile methodologies and a deep understanding of data and analytics. You will play a key role in guiding our team to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our Business Units.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate daily Scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings. Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile/Scrum practices and principles. Assist the product owner with backlog management and ensure the team understands the product vision and objectives. Remove impediments and blockers that may hinder the team's progress. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and solutions. Ensure the team is practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility. Track and report on key agile metrics to monitor team performance and process improvement. Continuously seek ways to improve team productivity and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile experience. 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a data and analytics environment. Proven experience with agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
IT Qualifications
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data visualization, and machine learning. Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with data visualization tools like QlikSense, Power BI, or similar.
