Your Impact:

Infrastructure Security: Collaborate with IT Operations and Solution Delivery teams to design and implement a resilient IT security infrastructure, aligning with the company’s security strategy.Vulnerability Management: Regularly conduct vulnerability scanning and assessments to identify risks, making cost-effective recommendations to improve overall security posture.Internal Auditing & Risk Assessment: Perform security technology audits and assessments, recommending enhancements to fortify security measures across the enterprise.Monitoring & Incident Response: Actively monitor internal and external environments for potential threats, suspicious activities, or incidents. Support the incident response plan, including investigations and remediation.Security Technology Implementation: Research, recommend, and implement cutting-edge security technologies, ensuring compliance with the overall enterprise security framework.Communication Security: Oversee communication security protocols, including PKI, certificate management, and encryption to safeguard data integrity.Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with key regulations like PCI, HIPAA, and PII, helping the company stay aligned with industry standards and laws.Collaboration & Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external security partners and industry experts to stay current on trends and best practices.

What You Bring:

Education: Current enrollment in bachelor’s Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related degree program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026. GPA of 3.0+ preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Security expertise of security tools (i.e. next generation network and application firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, encryption, identity and access management systems, file integrity monitoring, network access controlCloud security experience on major vendor platforms and mobile device securityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of current and evolving technologies.Certifications demonstrating trust and expertise across all components of information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
