Job Summary
The IT Security Team Leader provide leadership for Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity Operations team responsible for the day-to-day support of security technologies and processes that make up a robust cybersecurity posture. They will inform implementation of cybersecurity initiatives across WEC Energy Group and ensure enterprise technology and information assets are adequately protected. In addition, this position will identify, evaluate and facilitate mitigation of cybersecurity risks in a manner consistent with sound cybersecurity practices that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with and supports the risk posture of the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage a technically strong team of Information Technology (IT) security professionals.
+ Develop and oversee the implementation of cybersecurity best practices to protect enterprise information technology and data assets to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability.
+ Inform leadership about the company’s five year cybersecurity strategy, develop projects to achieve the plan and manage annual budget.
+ Foster an enterprise culture of security through effective cybersecurity awareness, policy and procedures.
+ Ensure procedures and processes to capture evidence to support internal cybersecurity controls and external regulatory compliance requirements for Sarbanes Oxley and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements.
+ Support the investigation, containment and remediation of cybersecurity events and incidents.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to assess effectiveness of cybersecurity measures, exercise and respond to cybersecurity threats.
+ Contributes to the management of the IT Security budget, tracking actual expenditures and updating target estimates.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or other related technical field.
+ 5+ years progressively responsible experience in Information Security.
+ Demonstrated project management experience involving budget management and work direction.
+ Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP).
+ Demonstrated leadership skills including proven ability to develop talent and assemble a highly effective team.
+ Familiarity with compliance and regulations relating to IT risk management, compliance and cybersecurity.
+ Strong knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity risks.
+ Knowledge of risk assessments techniques, change management, incident reporting and response planning.
+ Knowledge of network security and cyber security best practices.
+ Ability to work on multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously.
+ Must possess good communication skills both written and verbal.

Pay Range Minimum: $101,743.46
Pay Range Maximum: $152,615.06
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
