IT Senior Business Analyst - Finance

What you will do:

The Senior Business Analyst partners with stakeholders and technical teams to solicit and document process flows, features, requirements, and user stories as part of projects and enhancements and ensures quality delivery of those requirements through other IT partners including third parties.  Will be responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with the stakeholders with a specific focus on the Poland Finance Center teams and technical experience within the areas of Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report.

Build and maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders

Act as functional subject matter expert in technologies such as Oracle, JDE, and SAP ERPs

Responsible for soliciting and documenting features, functional requirements, and user stories and ensuring quality delivery through other IT partners including third parties

Document test cases and perform or manage user acceptance testing in partnership with the testing center of excellence as applicable 

Effectively leverage collaboration and planning tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) for the documentation of requirements and test cases

Partner with the testing center of excellence to ensure regression test scripts remain updated and are run on a regular basis to ensure platform continuity

Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution to business problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements   

Define tangible, functional use cases that align desired technology output to the finance center and the local finance organizations.

Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes  

Manage minor and major enhancement initiatives launching key capabilities to the platform in a governed fashion

Escalate IT support issues with the concerned teams to ensure smooth business operation.

Ensure clear communication between stakeholders and IT development and support teams  

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and one is expected to work independently with minimal supervision

What you need:

Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management of Information Systems (MS), or Computer Information Systems

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required

English level B2+, Polish - advantageous

Experience with process mapping and/or documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required

The ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes is required 

Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle Methodologies (SDLC) and Agile Development methodologies is preferred

Background or understanding of finance processes

Demonstrated functional and/or technical acumen in technologies such as Oracle, JDE, and SAP ERPs relating to finance processes.

Travel Percentage: 20%
