Qualifications Basic:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of educationAt least 5 to 6 years of experience with Information Technology.Preferred:At least 5 years of experience in supporting DB2 database administration.Well versed in administering DB2 instances, subsystems and Administration Servers for various DB2 version 11.1, DB2 for Linux, Unix and Windows 10.5.0, 10.5.0.4 and 10.1.0.Monitoring database through DB2 tools.Must have good troubleshooting skillsPerform Query tuningProvide Technical Leadership to DB2 team across both Onsite and Offshore.Perform database and OS performance tuning and monitoringGood knowledge on multiple operating systemPerform general technical troubleshooting and give recommendation to application teamAbility to review AWR and recommend suggestion accordinglyExposure to Release/Change managementExperience on creating IBM PMR and working with them to resolve issues.Experience on Incident, Problem and Change managements (Tools as ITSM ,PACS)Excellent Analytical and Communication skillsPlanning and Co-ordination skills.
