Proven work experience in a Ubuntu, RHEL and CentOS administration. Configure DNS, Postfix, IPTABLES and support SMTP services as required Hands on experience on Linux server Provisioning, Configurations, Patching and Administration Worked on Basic and Advanced system administration and troubleshooting Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash Ability to troubleshoot system level issues related to OS and Database versions. Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Hands on Experience in Samba, CIFS, LDAP, PAM, SSSD, user authentication Cluster configuration, management, and troubleshooting Expertise on File System and Logical volume management. Performance tuning and storage optimization Regularly monitor and maintain a log of critical services, performance of servers including monitoring of CPU, disk space, memory utilization. Strong knowledge in writing Shell Scripts, PERL and Cronjobs for automation. Experience in Apache Web Server support and administration. Installing and troubleshooting Tomcat/Jboss related issue Hands on experience in Firewall, Yum and RPM. Network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet Able to Manage cloud - based Linux deployments. Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work Managing the website and keeping internal networks running Ability to work on Major and high impact incidents and providing RCA Desired Skills: 6-8 years of experience in Linux Administration Apache Tomcat, Shell scripting, Should have strong OS administration skills on Linux Maintenance and monitoring of Web based applications Red Hat Enterprise and Ubuntu Servers. DNS, LDAP, NIS, SAMBA Knowledge of Azure or AWS Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Should be able to basic and advance level of trouble shootings
