IT Senior Manager - Solution Delivery

As an IT Senior Manager within our Solution Delivery Management team, you'll oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, development, and implementation of IT projects and initiatives under the delivery engine. Based in our Media City office in Manchester, with flexibility for three in-office days weekly and occasional international travel, you'll lead a team of 6, reporting directly to our IT Director - Architecture & Delivery.

 

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining delivery standards, ensuring project scope and guidelines, obtaining approvals, and coordinating resources. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

Project Management - Manage end-to-end IT project delivery, overseeing planning, development, and implementation, including both SAP and non-SAP deliveries across the company's complex IT estate. Standard Implementation - Establish and maintain delivery standards and procedures for SAP and non-SAP projects. Scope and guideline validation- Ensure project scope and guidelines are defined, obtaining necessary approvals for both SAP and non-SAP initiatives. Solution Accountability - Accountable for managing IT solution delivery, excluding analytics, infrastructure, and workplace, encompassing both SAP and non-SAP systems. Delivery Optimization - Set up and optimize the IT delivery engine, implementing best practices and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for both SAP and non-SAP deliveries.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

Substantial IT work experience in solution delivery management, encompassing IT systems, processes, and methodologies. Proficient understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering, and integration. Familiarity with delivery methodologies like Waterfall, SAP Activate, SAFe, etc. Relevant certifications in SAP applications (technical/functional), Software Development Lifecycle, or other pertinent qualifications focused on IT solution delivery. SAP Competency: Proficiency in SAP-related technologies, both on-premise and in the cloud.
