As an IT Support Junior Analyst focusing on logistics and asset management, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our company’s IT Assets and User Community. This includes overseeing the distribution, installation and tracking of hardware and software, ensuring that all IT resources are accounted for and functioning optimally. You will be the go-to person for on-site technical support, handling IT related issues in a timely and efficient manner. This role is located in Pleasanton, CA Responsibilities Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets including and peripheral devices Oversee the procurement and disposal processes of IT assets, ensuring compliance with Medallia company policies. Conduct regular audits to verify IT assets and reconcile with inventory records. Logistics Management: Coordinate the distribution and installation of IT equipment. Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and collection of IT Assets. Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems to ensure minimal downtime. Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software for Medallians. Train employees on the use of new IT equipment and software, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness. Documentation and Reporting: Document processes and maintain detailed records of IT asset lifecycles, including purchases, maintenance and decommissioning activities. Generate and/or utilize and maintain regular reports on asset utilization, performance and maintenance for management review. Collaboration and Communication: Work Collaboratively with IT team members to ensure seamless IT operations. Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience 1+ years of experience in IT support, logistics, and/or asset management Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems Proficient knowledge of MacOSx, iOS, Android and Windows OS Proficient knowledge with software such as Druva, SentinelOne, Zoom, Google Chrome, etc. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Jamfpro Cloud and Intune MDM platforms Proficient in inventory management and asset tracking software and in using ServiceNow Knowledge and experience with management solutions such as Okta, Active Directory, and JAMF Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $75,200 - $120,000. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
