**Job Category:** Information Technology **POSITION PURPOSE** The hands-on IT Software Architect serves on the IT Architecture Council, acting as the chief expert on topics relating to the Software Engineering practice. Leveraging their deep subject-matter expertise, the IT Software Architect serves as a key contributor in the development of new and reimagined application architectures. Along with their expert peers, the IT Software Architect develops, reviews, approves, and oversees all aspects relating to the architecture of the organization’s IT systems.
