IT Solution Specialist (PLM)
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesWithin this functional area, the PLM Solution Specialist is a part of the End to End Product team and is responsible for support PLM applications and end-to-end processes like application authoriztion or software installation. This person contributes to and executes PLM projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:Provide tier 2 support (troubleshooting and resolving issues) in close collaboration with the power users (tier 1) in the units:Support with the installation and maintenance of PLM software packages on end user clients.Support with the PLM applications infrastructure, ensuring high availability of the critical application components. Support the end users with authentication and authorization issues.Identify areas for improvement with regards to functionalities, performance, automation, user friendliness and robustness of the solutions.Contribute to the evolution of the global process template, design guidelines and design quality checks, collaborating with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Business Analyst. Maintain the necessary documentation to make the power users self-sufficient (i.e. user manual, process documentation).Maintain and execute test scripts.Support enhancement and upgrade projects during all phases until delivery to production.Execute user training for new functionalities and refresh trainings.What You Need to SucceedGood knowledge of PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter is a plus).Great communication skills in English (both written and spoken).Experience with Agile Scrum methodology. Experience with change management processes (CMII, ITIL or similar).Ability to communicate across different teams (i.e., R&D, Operations, Infrastrucutre, Network) Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, with high problem solving ability. Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills. Responsibilities may sometimes require working evenings and/or weekends.Masters or bachelor degree in Engineering, Computational Science, Business Management (is a plus) or similar or relevant experience.
