What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect with extensive experience within the IT organization supporting federal projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry knowledge, relationships, and technical expertise to support business development, deliver complex IT engagements, and drive growth within our federal programs. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a robust technical background and a proven ability to lead and innovate in areas such as infrastructure, network, cloud, software engineering, automation, and help desk operations.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree, Degree can be substituted with Four (4) additional years of experience.
Minimum Eight (8) years of experience in IT.
Experience direct exposure to federal projects.
Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for large, complex IT engagements ensuring alignment with client goals, industry standards, and Guidehouse’s best practices.
Support business development activities by leveraging existing relationships and insights into clients organizational structure, strategic objectives, and procurement processes.
Act as a strategic advisor to Guidehouse’s leadership, providing insights into clients IT needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with business development teams to shape proposals, participate in technical discussions, and present solutions that align with client requirements.
Draft comprehensive technical approaches for various proposals.
Develop and shape innovative solutions and methodologies to address client needs and challenges.
Drive client engagement, solution delivery, and innovation across various technology domains, including infrastructure, networking, cloud solutions, software engineering, automation, and help desk management.
Mentor junior team members, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT architecture, specifically within federal and transportation sectors.
Proven experience building and maintaining relationships within clients IT organization, with a focus on enhancing service delivery and promoting business growth.
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: infrastructure, networking, cloud services, software engineering, automation, and help desk support.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT projects and delivering complex technical solutions on time and within budget.
Experience with IT frameworks and methodologies, such as Agile, DevOps, and ITIL.
Strong understanding of Cloud technologies and integration of enterprise-level tools within a federal environment.
Must be US Citizen and able to obtain government security clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, large scale Agile implementation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Process Automation, Business Optimization (low-code/no -code), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and Help/Service Desk Support.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
Familiarity with federal acquisition and contracting processes, with experience supporting RFP responses and business development efforts.
Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
Federal security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is highly desirable.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
