Job Description

To design and maintain the organisations solutions architecture and applicationse

To ensure all solutions best practices, standards and processes are enforced through the solutions governance process within RMB projects and maintenance environmentManage budgets and forecasts and ensure delivery of budgeted itemsBuild and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue listen advise influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomesInitiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are deliveredPreserve relationships despite airing conflicting views and seek mutual gains when addressing conflictsAnticipate consequences and adapt problem solving based on continual feedbackAct speedily to resolve problems queries and complaintsAdapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiencesResearch new technologies and ways of using existing technologies to improve the platform i.e., utility reliability and performanceOptimise and automate internal processes where possibleTake responsibility for defining standard operating procedures standards guidelines and processes and update as requiredBased on stakeholder needs develop strategy and roadmaps for the specific platformsLiaise closely with business stakeholders to forecast capacity requirementsDesign solutions platforms and monitor availability up-time performance and stability against industry best practiceEnsure CSI on managed platforms by reviewing information systems and reporting for incidents anomalies threshold breaches etc and provide solutions to remediateResolve third line escalationsManage and deliver on projects and provide feedback thereonManage project resources to ensure deliveryReview and consolidate all calls incidents requests problems etc for management reportingReport on risks for the platforms to managementAs required analyse trends and propose mitigating and preventative actionsCommunicate proactively to manage expectations.Demonstrate pride in the organisations brand services and products by consistently delivering on the brands promiseFollow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintainedStay relevant and up to date with legislations and new developmentsMaintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedbackHandle stress in ways that do not negatively impact othersPlan and manage own workflow anticipating obstacles juggling priorities and following through on objectives within agreed time frames and according to quality standardsTake ownership of personal career development leveraging formal and informal opportunitiesRead situations and organisational realitiesSet aside personal agenda for the greater goodAct in an ethical transparent and morally defensible manner including highlighting unethical practicesShare debate and communicate learningsFlag and debate issues constructivelyPromote a friendly cooperative climate
