As a result, we are continuously licensing and/or acquiring new products and solutions aimed at addressing the essential needs of consumers, patients, and healthcare partners. **Role Overview:** The IT Specialist, Applications & Support, reporting directly to the IT Applications & Support Manager, is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT systems to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime, maintaining and optimizing IT systems to support business needs, and managing IT applications and projects to improve user satisfaction and operational efficiency. Through proactive support and collaboration, the IT Specialist ensures a reliable and user-friendly IT environment across the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** · Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Apple mobile devices, and related hardware. · Support operating systems such as Windows 11, macOS, and iOS, as well as Microsoft Office and specialized pharmaceutical software. · Act as a main point of contact for employees' Help Desk tickets, providing responsive and proactive IT support to all company end users, both in-person and remotely. · Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. · Monitor and report on recurring issues to recommend long-term solutions. · Track and manage IT assets, including inventory of hardware, software licenses, and warranties. · Conduct training sessions for new hires and provide ongoing education for employees on various software applications. · Develop user-friendly manuals and FAQs to assist employees in resolving common technical issues. · Assist in administering network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. · Manage and troubleshoot enterprise cloud platforms like Azure and Egnyte, including handling software updates. · Implement and uphold best practices for data security and privacy in cloud environments. · Contribute to IT project planning and execution, such as system migrations and software rollouts. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT needs and enhance system integration. **Education, Experience & Skill Requirements** · Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. · At least 5 years of experience supporting end users in a corporate setting that uses a mix of Microsoft and Apple technologies. · At least 2 years of experience supporting cloud-based applications, such as Office365. · Strong proficiency with Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Office365 cloud administration. · Microsoft certified & CompTIA Security + certifications preferred. · Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech environments, including GxP-regulated settings considered an asset. · Demonstrates a working understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. **Compensation Range:** · 65,000-85,000/ year _Medexus Pharma is an equal employment opportunity employer.
