IT SPECIALIST (DATAMGT)
Summary You will serve as an IT Specialist (DATAMGT) of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER. Responsibilities You will serve as a senior database and technical specialist on one or more Database Management Systems (DBMS). You will design data models, integrations, and security models for Microsoft Power Platform. You will support Microsoft Power Platform solutions including identifying and resolving potential and actual performance issues. You will serve as project lead for various projects and initiatives by defining data requirements, researching data use and validation rules, and providing technical advice to team members. You will plan, develop, and implement systems for acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data while adhering to information security and assurance policies, principles, and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and other Database Management Systems (DBMS) to support various projects and initiatives. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Designing the data model for Power Platform solutions including relationship behaviors and determining when to connect to external data versus import data; 2) Designing integrations including collaboration suite integration and integration with third-party systems; 3) Designing the security model for Power Platform solutions, including team structure, security roles, and column and row level security; 4) Validating the solution design for Power Platform solutions, including validating and implementing designs, reviewing security, and assessing performance and impact on resources; 5) Identifying and resolving potential and actual performance issues and providing options to resolve data mitigation issues.
