US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently looking for an Jr. IT Specialist with active Top Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The IT Specialist will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions.

This position will be based in Washington, DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Engage with clients, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work closely with design & product teams to create test cases and test plans.
• Identify and address risks within the team.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's computer systems and networks, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting hardware and software, providing technical support to users, ensuring network security, and implementing updates to keep systems running smoothly and securely

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fields.
• 1-3yrs Proven experience as an IT specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and appropriate software applications.
• Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience.

Please note that US Citizenship is required for this government contract position.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300.00 - $88,900.00.
