IT Specialty Analyst- Perioperative

Basic Company Info: Health Care and Health Plan organization

Seeking Analytics Developer/Data Analyst with experience in Perioperative services and/or acute patient flow.

New initiative to form Agile Pods, focused on data analytics and perioperative services

Fully remote (8am-5pm- EST hours)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Must Haves:

2-7 years of experience in healthcare analytics with a focus on perioperative services or acute patient flow.Strong proficiency in Epic systems (Work Bench Report, Slicer Dicer, Radar Dashboards).Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries.Proficiency in Power BI (strong preference) and Tableau for creating dashboards and scorecards.Strong collaboration skills with senior leaders to define data needs and provide actionable insights.Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Pluses:

Experience with predictive analytics in the clinical setting.Knowledge of perioperative operations, surgical workflows, and patient flow optimization.Hit Ground Running: The analyst will be expected to integrate into the Agile team quickly and begin contributing to the project immediately.

Day to Day:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define key perioperative metrics.Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Epic data.Develop data-driven insights and recommendations to improve perioperative services and patient flow.Participate in Agile team meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.Meeting with Stakeholders to gather requirements and discuss recommendations for data output.
