HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary:

Leads teams and/or projects. Serves as a back-up to the Director/Info Security Officer. Leads information security architecture reviews for new and existing systems to ensure alignment with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) information security standards; recommends controls to institute for reducing TMH’s risk. Leads information system activity reviews to ensure questionable activities are validated as appropriate. Contributes to functional strategy development. Facilitates existing processes, standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, and/or equipment; recommends process improvements to management, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations while managing business risks. Manages vulnerabilities and tracks remediation with the Information Technology (IT) Operations Team. Administers site security. Monitors system security. Installs and maintains security tools. Responds to and documents security threats; resolves technical faults with the IT Operations Team. Manages the McAfee Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) System. Conducts research. Hunts cyber threats. “Hacks” ethically. Provides “phishing” training. Performs miscellaneous duties.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a closely related field. Human Resources (HR) may substitute relevant work experience for formal post-secondary education on a 1-year:1-year basis. Experience credited in lieu of education cannot be applied toward the minimum experience requirement below (i.e., the same experience will not be counted twice).

 

Required Experience:

Five (5) years of information security or network engineering experience

 

Required Certification/License/Registry:

None

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential granted by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)²] and/or the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credential granted by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
